It will be a case of the Cats versus the underdogs

LAST weekend against St Kilda was our worst loss of the year.

It was very disappointing after being five goals up at half-time, but our second half was very ordinary.

Clarko wasn't very happy with us after the game - we didn't know what hit us and we were a bit shell-shocked.

We were really flat and didn't know what to do.

We just couldn't get the ball out of the middle of the ground after half-time.

St Kilda played well and deserved to win, but a lot of its goals came because of our errors - we went away from our structure and what we are supposed to do.

Unfortunately it came at a crucial part of the season.

Geelong beat the Western Bulldogs pretty easily and the meeting between us and Geelong in round 17 tomorrow night has been talked up all season.

People will probably think after last week's results this game will probably be a walk in the park for Geelong now.

It will be the first time this year we have been underdogs, which probably won't be so bad - all the pressure is going to be on Geelong.

The Cats are without Ablett and Ling and we have got nothing to lose, so we are going to come out with all guns blazing.

I'm sure it will be a very good game in front of 90,000 people.

We just want to get back on track and play the style of footy we've been playing for most of the year.

Who knows what will happen against Geelong, but it will be a great test for us.

As a defender, I also wanted to touch on something this week which has been a bit of a talking point - (Richmond defender) Joel Bowden's rushed behinds.

Personally, I thought it was fantastic what he did by handballing through the goals, rather than letting the opposition gain possession.

He didn't go against the rules or anything like that.

I think he handled it really well and showed good leadership.

A lot of people are saying the rule should be changed, but I thought it was smart footy.

You do whatever you can within the rules to get the four premiership points.

I wouldn't hesitate to do it if I was in the same situation.
