The South Burnie Football Club has struck back against vandals and offered $1000 for information on several recent attacks on its clubhouse.
Life member Anne Kaine said the club was desperate to catch the culprits.
"We've got to the stage where a couple of ex- members have put up $1000 of personal money," Mrs Kaine said.
"We wish we could put up more, but we can't at this stage.
"Someone out there knows something. Every bit of information the Burnie CIB get is one step further in securing our building."
Mrs Kaine said the reward showed that members were passionate about their club.
"All the work and the time and attention by players, committee and friends that have pitched in ... I couldn't imagine it not being here. It's the South Burnie Football Club."
Mrs Kaine said the last attack on August 17 was so violent, club members have since camped overnight outside the clubhouse in an attempt to keep the building safe.
"We're very lucky to have clubrooms at the moment, if they were successful it could have very easily burned down," she said.
Accelerant was poured through the clubhouse and a fire was lit on the bar, Mrs Kaine said.
"Luckily, (club president) John (Radford) got here in time, before it went any further.
"But you can't stay out here all week, you can't be here 24 hours a day."
Every single building window was smashed on July 19, Mrs Kaine said, only to be promptly smashed again the following weekend.
Some time before that, the club was broken into on three occasions, with thieves making off with the club safe on the third attempt.
"We lost our gate takings and match payments for the boys," Mrs Kaine said.
Club stalwart Trevor Snooks has found the damage on the past few occasions.
"It breaks your heart to see the effect on him. It's his life here," Mrs Kaine said.
